As we gear up for TEN Conference 2008, we are excited about what God has in store for this coming year! This past year has been a year of new beginnings and new opportunities. The doors that God is opening up have been literally mind-boggling and the relationships that are being built are humbling.

For over 20 years, The Evangelical Network has been on the front lines of speaking forth a message of hope, reconciliation, restoration and freedom for the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgendered community.
In 2007, we witnessed great things happen at the TEN Conference in Dallas as leaders and conference attendees embarked on a journey of “Dynamic Transformation – Deliberate Growth”. We are a true testament of God’s grace and faithfulness. Our stories give hope to others. For many we have found that, “it is for FREEDOM that Christ has set us free.” And we are standing firm and not letting the yoke of religious slavery be put on us any longer. (Gal 5:1)
At the TEN Conference 2007, it became so clear that God is doing a new thing. This is something that has been happening for the past few years…the winds of the Holy Spirit are blowing. We sensed that God is preparing us for new opportunities and directions and that He is taking us there together as one body. Isaiah 42:9, the Lord says, “Take note: The earlier predictions of judgment have been fulfilled. I'm announcing the new salvation work. Before it bursts on the scene, I'm telling you all about it." (Message) God is doing a new thing!
One of my favorite songs is from Hillsong entitled Show Me Your Ways (Russell Fragar). This is taken from Psalms 25:4 which says, “Show me how you work, God’ school me in your ways” (Message). That is our prayer that we will seek after God’s mind , voice and direction. But we can’t just go to school and hear the information and then not apply that. The next step is a step of action. We have to do something with that. Will you join us? God is raising us up to be people with a voice to proclaim the good news of Freedom to the captives. Because of the LIFE Christ has given to us, He is pushing us to the forefront to speak words of Life to the dry bones that are there in the world around us.
Are you ready to step up and make an eternal difference? Are you ready to start working on what could become your legacy?
TEN Conference is a safe place for you to come and meet others who are just like you. You may be struggling with your reconciliation process and find support, you may have long hung up your ministry calling and the winds of renewal are blowing across your heart and you know it’s time to start moving in that calling again, you may already be a leader and need support from others. At TEN Conference you will find healing, breakthrough, relationship, forgiveness and unconditional love. God promises to meet you right where you are at, and so do we. Come and discover your destiny in Christ.
Do you have a son, daughter, brother, sister, mom, dad, spouse, other family member or friend that is or has struggled to reconcile their homosexuality and Christianity? TEN Conference is the perfect opportunity for you to find the answers, encouragement and support you are looking for.
The Evangelical Network is just that…we are a NETWORK. We can’t do this alone. Pastors, youth pastors, church leaders, counselors, teachers, individuals…we need you! Become a part of The Network…The Evangelical Network. We are committed to mobilizing and networking the gay affirming Evangelical body of Christ to minister God’s grace and truth to a world so much in need. TEN Conference 2008 will be packed with teaching and resources to help you become more effective in ministry, equipping others to do the same, and reaching the GLBT community with God’s unconditional grace and truth. The harvest truly is great, but the workers are few!
