CONFERENCE POLICIES:
Youth & Students: Our policy for minors and young adults are described on the Youth page.
Registration Deadline – April 30th, 2008 All Conference registrations should be postmarked by April 30th and received by May 10th 2008.
Payment of Conference Registration Fees All attendees must submit applicable conference fees in US Dollars. Payment must be made in full to The Evangelical Network – no deposits are accepted.
Payment of conference fees may be made online or by fax, with your VISA or MasterCard credit cards. You may submit a personal check or money order if you are registering by mail. Returned checks are subject to a $25 handling fee.
Name Badges It is expected that all attendees will have registered and will wear their name badge throughout the entire conference. Name badges will be REQUIRED to enter any conference function.
Code of Conduct It is expected that all participants attending the conference will either be in agreement with The Evangelical Network mission and belief statements, or will be respectful of them while finding out more about the beliefs and practices of Christianity and of The Evangelical Network.
Frank and open discussion is valuable and has its place and time, however disruption of the conference is not acceptable, including but not limited to: interrupting conference presenters or activities: distributing non-approved literature counter to the beliefs held with The Evangelical Network; campaigning for alternative religions, philosophical or political views; on-site demonstrations; harassment of others; sharing registration with other persons or anything else that may cause interruption or disruption of the conference agenda.
Failure to abide by this code of conduct will be grounds for dismissal from the conference. Persons asked to leave for violation of the Code of Conduct will not be eligible for refunds.
The Evangelical Network reserves the right to refuse any attendee their registration, or to remove an attendee from the conference, if there is reasonable cause to beliefs that he or she may endanger themselves or others by attending, or has endangered themselves or others in attendance. Persons removed from the conference under these circumstances will not be eligible for refunds.
Attendee Confirmation and Receipt An automatic confirmation will be sent by email for those who register with a valid email address. The confirmation will include more conference details and items of particular interest to conference delegates.
Procedure for Changes to Policies In the event that The Evangelical Network is required to change any of these stated policies, changes will be made on the official conference website (www.t-e-n.org), and conference attendees will be notified by email of such changes.
Cancellation Policies In the event a confirmed registration must be canceled, cancellations should be submitted by email or in writing by the stated deadline to evangelnet@aol.com.
Registered attendees who do not show up for TEN Conference 2008 will not be eligible for a refund. Policy Agreement and Liability Release All conference delegates must sign the following agreement during registration or when they register:
“I voluntarily and personally assume responsibility for my participation in any and all aspects of the conference and release The Evangelical Network, its board, staff and any other conference teachers or contributors from any claims whatsoever for damages alleged as a direct or indirect result of participation in this conference.”
